Hi,

I have a lexar 256M jumpdrive. I see someone else managed to get this working. I have tried to boot my Dell inspiron 8500 and get the following message ... Error Loading Operating System

Anyone know what's going on? Is this message from the Dell bios ?

1) Make sure that you download and install the latest BIOS firmware from the Dell webside. Dell has recently made a ton of improvements with respect to USB booting functions that you can adjust in the newest BIOS.

2) Try the Dell bootable usb key utility. Search these forums for more details.
