Hi all, when I try to boot my DSL via USB, with a Floppy Disk, (the USB Pen Drive isn't recognized) I get to the step with the little Penguin on the top, and a message that says.. Kernel Panic unable to mount VFS on 10:83..

What can I do?

Also if I boot DSL via CD, I can't get it to read my USB via /dev/sda, it says block device isn't available..

Please someone help me...

I had that problem in the beginning too. What you have to do is make sure in your BIOS that USB Keyboard Support is *Enabled*.
That seemed to fix it, and I was able to boot up from the USB Pen Drive with no problem.

Hope that helps

Also, try turning off things in your bios like ACPI or APM.

These can cause the "oops at 0000" messages,
resulting in kernel panic..
