Is it possible to uninstall apps of the basic dsl system?
I already uninstalled e.g. joe with synaptic, but it's only uninstalled for the session. Next time I boot it's again in the system.
But I'd like to have the "joe-less" condition fixed on the stick.

Any solutions?

I would think you would have to remaster the stick.

So you mean to uninstall the apps before bringing dsl on usb stick?

And btw how do I get apps like writer or siag off the system? Could't find most apps in synaptic.

Or more precisely:
How do I get rid of apps before I remaster?
