If you want to install to your USB drive then all you need to do is set the "correct" geometry and I'd suggest the easy way of using the "install to USB pen drive" function in the menu. There is a rather useful walkthrough on USB installation and particually setting geometry in the documentation section at: < http://damnsmalllinux.org/talk/node/51 > you might also consider making a "5-way" install where you can also "boot" DSL from inside windows -but this is a tad more complicated and I find that I dont use it as much as I thought I would. Anyway, start with the basics first and see if you can get the thing to boot at all...Sorry but I cant help you about the 110MB thing, that IS an error -it should be 50MB I hope that is some use to you. EDIT: you want to then either get the current CD ISO ( dsl-1.0.iso at the moment) and burn it to a cd. DSL IS only 50MBHowever, the "DSL Embedded" version works from MS Windows using a virtual PC eumulation program called QEMU. This simulated computer has a fake hard drive and the contents of the hard drive are located inside a file. This file will bring up your USB usage from 50MB to 110MB. When you emulate DSL it does not mount your real hard drive, insted it mounts the virtual one only (for obvious reasons, the other drive(s) are in use). So if you want to save anything within your emulated DSL, you can save it to the virtual drive.Also, I suspect that if you do a 5-way install (DSL boots by USB stick from bois and within windows) then the virtual drive will be accessable by both systems.
