Hello everyone,

Im new to all this linux stuff and only ever used knoppix 3.8 and knoppix STD.

Ive been after booting from a USB memory stick for a while and was going to buy a 1gb memory stick and buring knoppicx 3.8 on to it.

But.........

Then I came across this website where you can actually buy linux on a stick allready set up, no hasle!

The only thing is, can you buy the USB DSL memory stick with bootable USBHDD or just with the USBFLASH ???

Just wondering because if you cant buy it to boot from USBHDD I may aswell just buy it seperate and set it up myself.

Thank you for your future answers.

Razta.

The way we sell them right now they are set up to boot USB-ZIP, and hosted inside qemu.  More bios are set to boot via USB-ZIP than USB-HDD, though I guess that will switch in the next few years.

Is it possible to make XP pickup the second partition if you use the zip method ? if not could I force DSL onto the second partition and make the 1st one the bigger of the two so my USB stick is still usable for windows etc ?
