Hello,

I installed DSL on my USB key (it's a USB-HDD type), my laptop boots from it and loads the initrd and such, but then when you get the little tux on your screen it seems its hanging. I left my laptop on and after a minute or 3 it started to go further. Then, when it got to the 'autoconfiguring devices', I get a modprobe error:

modprobe: modprobe : Can't locate module block-major-2

but it continues until the 'Searching for Harddisk paritions and creating /etc/fstab'. There it just stops. I left my laptop running another 15min but nothing changed.

Is there anything I'm missing or something? I tried the dma command on boottime but that didn't help...

I'm open for suggestions ;)
