lol,  :laugh:

ok i burned boot.0.8.0 in the floopy
it putted all the boot files in floopy
and i reboot
and it detected
and started
now when boot started
it said KNOPPIX not found
knoopix is 48 MB long file
cant put in floopy
and in Cd , whichever Cd i insert , is unwriteable,
how do i make , KNOPPIX detects itself

If you have MSDOS/Win95/98/ME,

then boot into your old OS and copy the \KNOPPIX\KNOPPIX file over from your CDROM drive and into your C:\ drive so that it looks like this:

C:\KNOPPIX\KNOPPIX

Note the ALL UPPERCASE letters.

Then try again with the boot floppy and type in this command at the boot prompt:

dsl frugal
