Damn Small Linux on a Wireless PenDriveForum: USB booting Topic: Damn Small Linux on a Wireless PenDrive started by: share Posted by share on Sep. 13 2005,12:59
It just works!Been experimenting with a PenDragon which is USB wireless with 128Mb storage pendrive. Damn Small Linux works really well. The wireless works straight out of the box (uses prism chipset). No ndiswrapper issues - or having to hunt around for drivers. Everything is already included in DSL. With BIOS set to boot from USB, no problem. But if the motherboard doesn't support - then kickstarting using the bootfloppy image takes care of everything else. < http://www.torspoal.com/pendragon.htm > Nice combination. |
