I used the "Install to Pendrive" script in DSL 1.5 that I was running from a CD. When I try to boot from the USB drive, it says it is "not a bootable device please insert a bootable floppy and press enter".Why am I getting this error message? I have a Lexar 128MB Secure pendrive Posted by Roby on Sep. 13 2005,21:42
Maybe you need dsl-1.5.iso image file. I got your same error with dsl-1.5-syslinux.iso file..... ;-)

Does your bios list booting from a USB-ZIP device as oneof the first devices it checks for at boottime? If it is not an option for your bios, then grab the bootfloppy_usb.img from the repository, and boot from it. Or, you can use the CDROM to boot, and use the bootcode " dsl fromhd=sda1 " Did you enable your USB legacy functions, if any? "Enable USB Keyboard" " Enable USB Legacy" , etc..
