I had used the DSL USB_ZIP install on a one gig pen drive, but now I just want to store files on it for school and whatnot, so I deleted the files off of it. However, windows reads the Keydrive as being 50 megs instead of one gig. I tried formatting it, but of course, I'm only formatting the 50 meg partition. Any way to get the other 974 megs back?

Apparently Windows can't see multiple partitions on a pendrive...it sees only the first one. In order for windows to see your whole device you'll need to repartition it with only a single partition.

Yet another reason why Windows is, as they say, bundy snacks.

Just boot up the DSL livecd and do a USBHDD install.

The USBHDD install process should recreate the original single partition structure.
