Boot From Inside WindowsForum: USB booting Topic: Boot From Inside Windows started by: Anth Posted by Anth on Oct. 16 2005,20:45
I was interested in some security while browsing the net and while reading around the internet i came to a site comparing liveCd's for secure browsing. It said that DSL was the safest method for going to online Banking sites while using computers that are not yours (i.e In internet Cafe's). Due to it mentions protection from possible key loggers and trojans taking your passwords you type. It said that DSL was the best for this as it has the option to boot from inside Windows to it. Can i ask how is this done, as it is impossible to boot from CD or floppy in an internet Cafe's as the Cafe have blocked all booting capabilities except from the Hard Drive. So how do you achieve this method of booting into DSL LiveCD from inside using Windows XP, also as its a Internet Cafe i do not have Admin Privledges. Thanks for your help Anth Posted by adssse on Oct. 16 2005,20:54
