I can't find anything releating to USB from the boot devices. So what should I do if my motherboard doesn't support USB-booting? Buy harddisk? :F Sorry if my english sucks, english isn't my own language . Posted by cbagger01 on Oct. 23 2005,07:37 Just use the usb boot floppy disk. It works. Posted by Bzori on Oct. 23 2005,09:41 Umm, what does that mean? Floppy kind of boots my linux from USB? Url or something? Posted by cbagger01 on Oct. 24 2005,02:53 It means: You create a DSL bootable USB pendrive. You create a DSL USB Boot floppy disk You plug the pendrive into the USB port, insert the USB boot floppy into the floppy drive and then you turn your computer on. < http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index.php/Boot_Floppies > |
