Yes I know I'm new with linux but I can't seem to boot embeded in windows. I have burnt the iso to a CD-rom, and have read many posts on here but can't seem to find how I boot DSl within Windows.

Embedded does not use the ISO. It is a zip file containg Qemu and the DSL filesystem. Look for the dsl-2.0-embedded.zip file on DSL mirrors.
