Format USB Drive

I am trying to install DSL Embedded on a USB Pen Drive. I have the dsl-2-0-embedded.zip and mformat.exe. I plugged in my USB drive and it was recognized as "Removable Drive (F:)." However, when I click on mformat.exe from the CD or from a directory on my hard drive (Win XP). I receive the following error message:

No USB Flash Disk Found!

The USB drive is a PNY 256MB. Is there something I am missing or are there certain USB drives that cannot be formatted?

Why do you need to format the drive?

If the files are there after you unzipped the dsl download, then you are in business.

Just double-click on the BAT file and away you go.

Thanks...I did that and it worked. So what is the mformat.exe file for?
