When I remaster the dsl-2.3.iso, I can't boot my kernel 2.4.32 with more feathure. It occured error like this:
Kernel painc: VFS: Unalbe to mount root fs on 01:00

And my isolinux.cfg:

LABEL linux
KERNEL linux32
APPEND ramdisk_size=3248000 noinitrd init=/etc/init lang=us BOOT_IMAGE=knoppix

Use the dsl kernel config file and knoppix patches found in the DSL version 2.1b download site, located in the archive/sources-2.1 folder.

They were used to compile the linux kernel version 2.4.31 that was included with DSL version 2.1b

They most likely will also work with a stock linux 2.4.32 kernel sources.

All kernels used in DSL are stock kernels.
The only patch applied is that standard Knoppix patch.
This patch is available in the kernelsource.dsl in the repository as well as many other places on the net.

When I rebuild 2.4.26 from kernel.org with splash patch, it can boot from IDE-CDROm but can not boot from USB-CDROM. WHY?
How to resolve the problem?
Or it does with linuxrc and kernel?
