QEMU crashes

I d/l and copied the embedded files to my 2GB pen drive (formatted FAT32).. problem is when i double-click dsl-windows.bat it crashes with the following error:

qemu.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x0043e500" referenced memory at "0x0b312210" The memory could not be "read".

This occurs on every Windows box I have tried so far...

It even happens when I try to run the dsl-windows.bat from a directory on the Windows volume hard disk.

help??

allow me to answer my own question...

RTFM N3wB!!

lol... running it in Win95 compatibility mode did the trick (as stated in previous posts)
