I have Embedded DSL 3.0.1 and I have running it off a standard Lexar 128MB USB stick.

I can run this in my Linux distro. with ease and there appears to be no problems. However, when I run this in Windows (running the batch file), the screen appears to be squished to 1/3 the width of the QEMU window. DSL is unusable in this condition.

The Windows box is running Windows XP, has 256MB of RAM and is a 900Mhz processor (P III).

Any more information required? Any tips to this problem?

Thank you.

Try running it under win9x compatibility mode.

Or run xsetup and see if that does anything.

I"ve noticed that there tends to be more issues with running Embedded DSL under a slower Windows machine.

If you run "xsetup.sh" you should be able to change the resolution to fit your screen
