I made my Viking 512Mb USB 2.0 drive into a bootable DSL, and it works just great. I also use it at work but using the *.bat to boot it up within Windows.
Can anyone tell me how to configure DSL/knoppix so that I can add more packages and configure the boot script to enable cups, samba automatically etc.
I'd also like to be able to add a directory with some of my favourite mp3's in so that I can play them from within DSL when I travel on business.

I tried to do this, but for some strange reason, I get an error when I try to use the dsl-windows.bat file to boot it. It is just an error report thing, but it gets to uncompressing Linux first. Any help would be appreciated.

Topic moved to Embedded. If you downloaded dsl-embedded then questions concerning it belong in Embedded section.

If you want to share the virtual drive in Qemu with a native bios boot then read < this. >

If you get an error while trying to execute the bat file in Windows then change the compatibity mode of Qemu. Change to Windows 98 compatable mode.
