I'm trying to compile a RT2500 driver on a DSL embedded installation running under Windows XP. The problem is that every time I try to install gcc1.dsl from the MyDSL panel it hangs during installation, after downloading the .dsl file.

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be? I'm using DSL3.2RC3.

Also, when I download linux-kernel-headers.dsl I keep getting 'Download or checksum error' as a message.

Are you out of memory?
Are you out of virtual disk?
What is your download location?

The default memory allocated for Qemu/DSL is only 128MB.
If you are using a virtual disk, what size did you make it?
The original virtual disk was only 60MB?

side notes:
- you should not be using linux-kernel-headers.dsl but kernelsource.dsl - it's just that kernelsource.dsl is for 2.4.26 (current kernel) and it actually only contains the headers.
- afaik the native rt2500 driver does not work on smp kernels (just a heads up)
