Ok, so I am new to Linux and do not entirely understand how to get the embedded image onto my thumb drive. I downloaded the file dsl-3.4-embedded.zip and tried every thing just as the website instructed. So now my thumb drive shows the files I extracted but I have no idea how to boot into DSL from here. Anyone have clearer instructions on what to do to get this to work?

The zip file contains a readme which should explain things.
Boot DSL from what? Windows, there are several .bat files as explained in the readme. Boot from BIOS, requires you change your machines BIOS to boot from USB, if supported. Also to apply syslinux to the pendrive so as to make is contain the necessasy boot files.
