Posted by Juanito on Sep. 17 2007,11:24In general, it depends on the folder and/or file ownership and permissions - in this particular case I guess dsl believes /cdrom is read-only.
You should be able to write to your pendrive via /mnt/sda1 or something similar - unless you're using dsl-n

I have to enter as root, or it's read only (even with "frugal")
