Yeah I'm new to this stuff........

I have done the frugal install to the CF card on my embedded PC.
For my embedded app. I want to use a VGA (640 x 480) LCD panel.
I would  like to be able to skip the X Setup each time it boots . How can I do this ?

I am new to Linux and the answer may be simple, I shure would appreciate someone helping me fast track my learning process.

Thx
:)

Get .xserverrc(Not .xinitrc, sorry for that) out of "/home/dsl" of a booted DSL environment.
Then, remaster it with .xinitrc placed in "/etc/skel".
By this way, the startx will read the settings as default.

Good luck!!!

You needo to add .xserverrc to .filetool.lst and have the backup/restore process enabled on your frugal install. This will save your video and mouse settings. Both of these files are in /home/dsl and are hidden. Click the 'H' at the top of the panel in emelfm to see them
