If I boot the regular version of DSL off CD, on all the computers here at work, I cannot access the Internet because the network cards are not supported.  I'm trying to install DSL to a USB pendrive for booting off the stick itself.  That requires an internet connection for the script that you run, so no go on doing it off the DSL ISO CD.

Now when I run the embedded version of DSL in Windows it can connect to the Internet and go through the rest of the steps in the USB pendrive install script.  However, DSL cannot access my pendrive at all.  /dev/sda and /dev/sdb do not exist.  So the script fails like this:

Do I need to insmod anything to get USB to work in embedded DSL??  Please help, thanks.

qemu is a virtual processor running inside your host os. because of this it can't see the hard drives on the host pc. you could use samba - see mstrhelix's explanation, or you might try mounting the stick as a floppy in qemu's bat file.
