I was wondering if someone could help. I have just downloaded Windows Embedded DSL 2.0 RC.

However i cant seem to fathom out how to get access to my actual Windows XP C and D Drives (D is where i store most of my files).

So how do i achieve this. I have read older posts but dont fully understand them, i have apparently a Virtual Hard Drive but to view the actual windows Hard Drives i need to set up a FTP using SMBclient?

However this is where i am getting stuck. I am trying to get the computer Ip from typing in IPconfig but i am not entirely sure which one it is as there are a few IP addresses listed. But the one i thought it was seems to be keep changing. But i put this in SMBclient and typed

ls

But the request timed out.

So where am i going wrong. Also, How does this ls i type in distinguish that it is the C drive or the Windows D hard drive i wish to view the files on?.

Is there any help anyone can suggest on this. As it seems like it could be something im missing. But like i say i am just wanting to view (i dont think i really need to know how to write at the moment) but how do i set embedded DSL to view the windows hard drives.

Thanks
