GLX missing on display

I have a nvidia geforce 2 mx 400 with 32 MB ram.
I installed xfree86 and nvidia dsl packages but when I launch most of the game I get the error:
extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".

Thanx any help.

PS I can see the nvidia logo when X starts

look in /etc/X11/XF86Config and see if Load "glx" is there (and not commented)
