BT Voyager USB ADSL Modem

I have just started with DSL. My problem is how to get on the internet. I boot from CD and the USB port for my modem appears to be detected but how do I install the driver.

Bt voyager, you must be from the uk, maybe using aol or something.
I think there was an article on linux.com some months ago, check back when I find it again...

The BT Voyager USB modem is a peculiar animal. There has been a fair amount of discussion on the Knoppix forum about getting it working. It is possible, but not trivial.

Unless you enjoy spending the time fiddling around with it, you'd probably be better off getting a router. DSL & most other distributions will work straight out of the box with an ethernet DHCP connection. BT's latest ADSL router/modem will do the job & it's not expensive.
