Can you guys include a DjVu reader to the distribution?
I have literally thousands of ebooks in DjVu format. It can compress better than PDF, and is spreading. I hope you've heard of it, but if not, here's the info page:

I have an old ThinkPad laptop that I use to read ebooks. It would be great if DSL could show DjVus like it does PDFs.

Thanks, Ray.

I really doubt that the devs will include a reader for that format.  Simply not enough people would use it for it to be worth it.  However, you could make your own extention for it.

And maybe if djvu becomes popular enough the devs would include it.

you should try compiling the source of DjVuLibre.

I would try it but I'm at work right now

Is it possible then for me to make a new .iso which will have djvulibre and possibly some other extensions? Cos I can't install anything on a hard drive, since there isn't any

if you're able to make a .dsl or other extension than you will be able to remaster it onto you cd.  Either that, or you could just save it on a usb stick and use it from there.

The hard part is compiling it and getting it into the extension form.  I might try and give it a shot when I have time.
