I'm use to CentOS, so forgive me if this has been covered or if the idea has been scrapped for whatever reason.

I'd like DSL to have a copy/paste that follows how it is done on CentOS. You right click and it presents you with a menu for copy/paste.

That depends on the framework/apps.

If you use the same ones that you use under CentOS, you will probably get the same menu for them.

For example, if I am working in Terminal in CentOS, and want to COPY a url in a text document, and paste it into Firefox, I can do that. There seems to be some limits to DSL doing this from my experience, unless I am doing something wrong?

Are you saying this is actually a function of the application itself, meaning that Terminal doesn't support COPY outside of itself? If that is the case, maybe Terminal is the feature I am requesting this be added to, or perhaps this is another Terminal-like application to use? Thanks!

Yes... your 'Terminal' app is probably gtk* based and can talk in the same copy/paste framework as firefox
Which terminal program is this?  You might want to try out the new Konsole extension.

What's generically supported between X apps is select+paste (highlight text, paste with shift+ins or middle mouse)

Easy in DSL when you read the Getting Started Document, Cut and Paste section. Works for me! 2 or 3 button mouse.
