For example, if I am working in Terminal in CentOS, and want to COPY a url in a text document, and paste it into Firefox, I can do that. There seems to be some limits to DSL doing this from my experience, unless I am doing something wrong? Are you saying this is actually a function of the application itself, meaning that Terminal doesn't support COPY outside of itself? Yes... your 'Terminal' app is probably gtk* based and can talk in the same copy/paste framework as firefoxWhich terminal program is this? You might want to try out the new Konsole extension. Easy in DSL when you read the Getting Started Document, Cut and Paste section. Works for me! 2 or 3 button mouse. |
