Does anyone know if DSL will boot from a pcmcia cdrom yet.  I have not tried in a while now, but the last one I tried didn't.  If this is in the wrong forum please direct me to the correct one.

Yes, I believe it has been supported for a while. (something like "ide2=0x180 nopcmia" for pcmcia-cd drives)
