Hello,

I know the virtual keyboard (xvkbd) can easily be added via MyDSL, but it would be nice to have it available in the base distribution.

I'm thinking it would be handy to have in the base whenever using PC's in internet cafes etc. as a little extra protection from hardware-based keyloggers (if a user absolutely must do banking/shopping or other information-privacy-sensitive things on such a computer!)

Use the MyDSL remaster script and add it to your own CD. That way it's on the CD and will load automatically unless you use the "base" cheatcode.

It's very small, so maybe it could be added..

I can't remember the last time I typed in a password; personally, I'd grep a password file (it could be encrypted for the road) and copy/paste. To be secure, they have to be complex and changed often enough so that they aren't easily remembered anyway.

It would also make DSL useful for touchscreen appliances.

An excellent suggestion, IMHO.
