Hi suggest to stop the shutdown process if the shutdown fails 4 example due to not enough space on device.

legalize cannabis, coke, eroin....

You can do this yourself pretty easily

1) Comment the filetool line in /opt/powerdown.sh
2) Make a new script: filetool.sh backup noprompt && halt (add whatever helpful messages you want for success or failure)
3) "sudo mynewscript" to shut down

Another good suggestion from jls. Together with some other suggestions will make for another minor update.
