G'day John & co.
An extremely minor suggestion - how about adding an empty "optional" dir to the ISO?

It's probably just me who has the problem, but when I edit the ISO and add the folder, whenever I boot into DSL the folder is called "New Folder", even though I specifically named (and renamed, again and again...) it "optional".  Though this doesn't seem to affect operation, it's just bugging me! :p

Would having an empty "optional" dir built into the standard ISO affect it in any way?  If not, then could this be a "hell, may as well" change to the next ISO?  :D

(and possibly sub-folders to organise packages so you have some sort of idea what they are?  eg. "games", "graphics"...)

Sounds like your using ultraiso in Windows to do your remasters..
Next time, rather than trying again and again to rename that "folder",
Simply have one correctly named ALREADY on your hard drive somewhere,
empty or full o' goodness, BEFORE you startup the winiso or ultraiso program.

Then DRAG it into your build , rather than create it or rename it.

Continue to fill it to the rim !!    Then toast it ..

It works for me..

Yup, using UltraISO trial.  Thanks, will give it a go next time!
