Hey there.well .iīve got a project i would like some feedback on
The capebility to Stream a .mp3 signal .. u know .. hehe windblows can do it
A video (webcam style) stream signal
Windows got a program called windows media encoder, that works ..... vut my linux cant do it yet

Find a comparable linux app and post it up here...im sure one of the supergurus can whip something together!!

itīs that im trying find .. it cant be that hard , can it ? basics :
1. a linux app. that can save audio DIRECT to harddisk as an mp3
2. a linux app that can save video direct to harddisk as an mp3.
iīve looked at xmms , the player thats in DSL, and itīs got an diskwriter plugin ,, but HOW does i get it To write direct to disk ?

any 1 , please help me, i donīt know ANYthing about linux, (ok ok , some things i do know ;)i need to know..What do I need to get linux to make Mp3 Realtime encoding
and
to make linux record Video and save it as a Stream (like windows)
