This is just a suggestion but one thing I have always wanted on DSL is a GRUB bootloaader.  I know lilo is the standard and it works well but I miss the flexability that GRUB has in a multi boot system.  Browsing thru the directories I noticed that most of the Grub files are there. Can someone tell me how to switch from Lilo         to grub?                                   roosofallevil  (just another dumb newbie)

You could do an HD-install, then apt-get install grub and apt-get remove lilo.  That should do it.
