Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to copy my favorite bookmarks from my HDD install of firefox to be available on my liveCD as well.

This will be a useful feature. I could not find this topic on searching the site.

the firefox bookmarks are in a bookmarks.html in /home/dsl/.mozilla/firefox/xxxdefault/
just copy them. ( yo can copy the cookies to)

Thank you.

But what i want is to be able, to simply write a file or two to the live CD - in the root or /optional partition, burn it,  and have these bookmarks and plugins and fluxbox key bindings available on booting the live CD, without depending on an external storage device.

Impossible?

Maybe we can put these modified files in the root directory and get a script to paste them into the relavent areas by running the script?
