My friend has a BT 878A tv card. Kernel finds corectly this card. Still,i belive there is no application for this.

Can be added to the next release TVTime ( < http://tvtime.sourceforge.net > ) ? excellent toy i belive!

how about xawtv...maybe console like fbtv, or any other proggie?

or it never will be added a tv application in DSL?

Maybe John could strip xawtv and keep fbtv...or maybe this kind of application is not suited for DSL?

Why souldn't it. if it fits, in consolle mode I suppose, I think it could be usefull.

What about mythtv? there's a distro out there based on knoppix that includes mythtv (knoppmyth i believe), but could this be easily implemented into a livecd version of dsl?

Why not just use the other distro (knoppmyth) instead of DSL?

If you replace everything in DSL to get mythtv, then the distro is not DSL any more.
