Hey John,
May I recommend a console addon called burncenter
< http://alx14.free.fr/burncenter/ >

Screenshot: < http://alx14.free.fr/burncenter/burncenter.png >

to make DSL capable of burning/copying cd's much easier?
And considering its only 12k I think it might help

Boy, that looks VERY similar to the burnbash program in DSL now...
Has anyone used the multisession features in that one?

Did you try this one, awphuch?
The "comments" on the author's page suggests this program
works successfully on multisession cd's, which would be
GREAT for adding .dsl files to a .iso burned open session CDR...

I have had poor results in linux with multisession,
short of cli...
I saw another comment there saying the same thing....

You can do so much more with DSL and multisession capability...
It simply sucks to have to do this in M$

I find the current Bashburn interface very confusing.
I choose burn ISO, but the damn menu just keeps on cycling and I can't even choose the ISO file to burn.
GCombust exits for no reason.
No CD- burning for me :(

If you had the burncenter options do you think it would be easier?

You can get the binary from my server at
Copy to your DSL to the /tmp dir

extract using
Code Sample
tar -zxvf /tmp/burncenter.tgz -C /

CD to your /usr/src/burncenter3 dir and type ./install and follow directions

The bashburn "menu cycling" behavior may be due to busybox's "find" command not supporting the "-iname" option.

FYI,

A new revision of Bashburn was released today.  You can get more details at:

I don't use bashburn, but according to the screenshots, "multisession" is a menu option.

I have no problems burning multisession with BashBurn, copying cd's does'nt work but I have'nt really played with it.
