HI everybody!
I simply LOVE DSL! Maybe that because of my nostalgic view on old hardware stuff... I also am a great friend of the "old" commodore 64.
There a thousands (I host 17.000) of songs for it.
They are all very small (about 3 to 15 KB) and I think a player for those would fit perfectly well here. There are plugins for xmms:

Or maybe even better a small stand-alone-player:

I havent checked for lib-dependices yet but they are very very small...

Maybe other are also interessted in that?!

Greetings,
Martin

Me again ;-)
I have testet xtinysid and it runs perfectly fine.
its executeable is about 55 KB big and comes with a small GUI.
The commandline-version is even smaller but does not allow to change the different tunes.
The sid-Quality is not the best and not quite like the original but still worth it!!!
I still think it would be fun to include it with several tunes...

Another Idea: I know DSL is not so much for coders out there ;-)
But What about FASM? A very small single assembler (therefor no libs needed)

I'm worling on that one too and will probably make another post of it...

c64 4 ever ;-)
