How about making a loaded version of DSL? I know the current "core" version has many applications and such but how about having a sort a download tool that you can use to download various apps/games for different servers. I believe it would work similar to apt-get.

DSL has the "myDSL" system, which allows you to download and install user-created packages from an ever-growing repository.

You can use the myDSL application in the menu to automatically download and install these programs, or you can use a web browser, ftp, or wget to retrieve them from < ftp://ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/damnsmall/mydsl/ >

You could also "enable apt" and use apt-get or dpkg to install debian packages.

Yea thanks for the link. It doesnt work (something with me timing out with the FTP) but after going to the DSL main site I found a link to the repository which has many things that I need. But going on with my eailer post, I still think that a major part of DSL should be packet downloads upon request sorta thing.

Perhaps your ISP blocks ftp activity.
The myDSL system is exactly what you suggest,
and works for me on several boxes in several locations flawlessly.
