hi,
I would love to see my two favourite console apps make it into dsl:

Centericq: Centericq is a text mode menu and window-driven IM interface that supports the ICQ2000, Yahoo!, AIM, IRC and Jabber protocols.

Cplay: Cplay is a curses front-end for various audio players (mpg321, ogg123 etc).

cheers

Centericq is great, but look at the size; it's huge. Also, cplay uses Python, which isn't included in DSL.

Cplay has't got Python and the mpg123 says that it can't find any libao device or something like that :-( MPG123 is my favourite player , but not working in DSL
Maybe it's by changing the kernel

BTW I don't like GUI @#$%
