Came across Matchbox, a window manager used on Linux PDA ports.  Wondered if nayone had looked at this for DSL.

I've used matchbox several times with DSL, it works very well for kiosks and other "locked down" styled systems.

As a gui for a main desktop, you simply have to get used to the idea that all of your windows are maximized.

I'd say check it out, it's lightning fast and easy to theme.

Looks like it's also larger than the version of fluxbox that DSL currently comes with.

Looks pretty interesting. Does anyone know what the requirements are to run this on an old pda? I didnt see them on the site.

Can anyone help me get this installed?  I've got a Sonicblue Progear gathering dust that sorely needs to be converted into a sofa-top PC.

I'm planning on going the < bootable USB stick > route and installing from there to the HDD.
