Ts ClientForum: DSL Ideas and Suggestions Topic: Ts Client started by: elwis Posted by elwis on Dec. 11 2003,12:38
I'm looking for a Linux-dist that can boot my old machines from cd, display a question about IP adress and then trigger TsClient login to a M$-Server.Is this possible with dsLinux? Or is it easy to modify to do exactly this? The problem as I (as a n00b) see it, is that I don't have any storage for config files (no harddisks), the CD must hold the bashscript (for tapping in IP adress) and the Ts-Client trigger. But this, I could live without of course. Regards Posted by cbagger01 on Dec. 14 2003,23:56
You might be able to get there withrdesktop from the command line. You would need to put your install script somewhere like a floppy or a pen drive. Another option is a do-it-yourself remaster of the DSL cd. Good Luck. Posted by monkymind on Dec. 15 2003,01:52
