In the past, the future for freelance reportage photojournalists, was; digital camera, palm pc (CF port,) & WAP phone.My first stab at this was many years ago, HP Jornada 420. CF slot was requisite. They are working with similar parameters; processing power, memory, storage.They're putting out 2 desktops, GPE, and, OPIE. As they evolve they will prioritize what applications are primary. Porting applications designed for handelds may be the way DSL stays sub 50MB and modern in the semi-distant future.
