Mounting windows shares?

Can i mount windows shares with this distro ?

seems very nice, i wonder if xmms ir really needed but ok.
In the package list samba is not named but is the samba client
(aka: mount -t vfat) included ?

You can mount ntfs partitions but you must do the hdinstall and then use apt-get to get samba then you can mount -t ntfs.

Of course xmms is needed!
I mount my ntfs hard drive, and listen to all of my music with xmms, it's very nice :)

xmms is okay, until you do a hard-drive install.  after that you can say "#### you xmms" and get something better, and still in developement, like xine, or mediaplayer2 i think its called.

as for samba, they pretty much summed it up already.
