Hi...
DSL is an astounding nice distro; It's hard to belive that a real high value product like DSL be almost free.
The only problem is the same that all Linux distros... it is not easy to understand for the tipical user (like myself) with no training in IT and migrating from windows... we do not want to develop apps or redesign any, only use it.
So, my proposal is to open a "dummy's corner" or "illiterate's section" in the forum; where the nice Linux gurús who want made "social (apostolical?) labor" answer question step-by-step for we "the poor mortals".

While it's not a bad idea, it may be difficult to find people who are willing to post step-by-step instructions for Linux basics.  Instead, you might want to consider reading documentation that has already been written, such as
