I have a 486 PC with 8Mb RAM, 512Mb HDD, 512kb VIDEO
(I'm not sure about the video) Is DSL going to work ?

You need more RAM

16MB is minium realistic RAM requirement

If you set up some swapspace (I'd use toms root boot to do it), DSL should work, albeit slow.

At least if it's a 486DX. If you have no math coproc, you're out of luck.
