Hi,
I have a D-link DWL-520+ PCI card running a live CD of DSL v2 RC1. I can't seem to get this card to work when I use ndiswrapper with drivers from the D-link site. I have tried the airplus.inf and the gplus.inf. Both will give me drivers loaded and hardware present when I install them with ndiswrapper. I then modprobe the ndiswrapper. But subsequent ipconfig and iwconfig gives me error messages.

BTW, I have installed this card fine with Puppy linux from their packages site without any problems.

Does anyone have a woking driver or instructions on getting this to work?

Thanks,
-FG

At the ndiswrapper compatibility webpage - < http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/index.php/List >
the D-Link DWL-520+ is mentioned as being identical to the Trendnet TEW-301PC, and the D-Link driver is mentioned as not working ... but apparently the Trendnet driver does work.  So try this one.
And in case you don't know already, when ndiswrapper installs a Windows .inf file, it needs other driver files specified by the .inf file, especially .sys files.  So you must have all related Windows driver files in the same location.

On a similar note, are there any recommendations for PCI based wireless G network cards?
