hey there got dsl running however i have an old serial mouse running out of com port 1, tty0 i believe, can anyone give me any tips or cheats on how to get dsl to recognise my mouse please and how i would go about doing that. thanks
oh i have tried all the option in the xsetup.sh options so if there are any other ideas

I second this request for assistance, I have the same problem.

I've been searching all day today, and on a couple of other days last week, and I haven't found any guidance.

It should be recognized automatically after using the xsetup.sh and then restart Xwindows with the "startx" command.

You should try all available serial ports (ttyS0 ttyS1 ttyS2 ttyS3 etc) because sometimes COM1: is not mapped to ttyS0

Otherwise, your mouse protocol must be unsupported by the XVesa or Xfbdev servers and you may need to install XFree86.dsl to get support for this mouse.
