problem with italian keyboard

Hi,i'm a italian man and i'm sure damn is the best operating sistem in the world,but dsl have only 1 problem: When open the firefox browser,with italian keyboard layout,firefox does not accept the @ key.
the dillo browser and the alla programs does not have this problem.
please help me to fix this inconvenience?
is not a great problem,but.....all versions of dsl have this problem!

Have you booted dsl with the "dsl keyboard=it" option?

i'have installed dsl on the hard disk and i have select the italian keyboard.
..
what's the location of the lilo file by edit for boot with italian keyboard?

It appears that there are three italian keyboards for you to try.
They are all located in /usr/share/keymaps/i386/qwerty/it-ibm.kmap.gz
/usr/share/keymaps/i386/qwerty/it.kmap.gz
/usr/share/keymaps/i386/qwerty/it2.kmap.gz

If hard drive installed, you should be able to add the command loadkeys to /opt/bootlocal.sh, for example to use it2.kmap.gz you would add the following:

loadkeys it2

Reboot to be sure
or at the minimum exit from X windows,
type loadkeys it2
startx

For the next relase candidate I think I will adjust the .xinitrc so that mod for keyboards will be all keyboards except US.

hi robert,thank you for your interest in the problem of italian keyboard,when the dsl 2.4 is released i download it and burn to a cd-rw to test if the keyboard italian work properly.
