HI!

I've done a DSL (not DSL-N) hard disk installation. Now, i need kernel 2.6.9 (or higher).

How can i do that? A .deb file is enough?

Thanks!

No, that would be unlikely :P
If you require 2.6 it's probably much easier to start with DSL-N.

A deb file might work. Honestly, I think it would. You'd have to get it from testing or unstable (I'd recommend testing, especially for a kernel), because the one in stable is 2.6.8, and you said you needed 2.6.9+.

I agree with hats about DSL-N though. I also needed a 2.6 kernel, and was stoked to discover DSL-N. DSL-N has 2.6.12.

I would recommend installing DSL-N over hacking DSL. If you try the deb though, post back here and tell us if it worked.
